About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the learning and personal development of children within the Early Years and Lower School. Key responsibilities include assisting teachers with lesson planning and assessments, supervising students-especially those with Special Educational Needs-and fostering a safe and engaging learning environment. You will encourage student interaction, adapt learning activities as needed, and provide a nurturing atmosphere that facilitates individual and group learning. Additionally, you will maintain open communication with educators, offering regular feedback on pupil progress and any concerns.
This is a full-time, permanent role with an Easter start date.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and possess the necessary skills to make a positive impact in students' lives. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of Grade A-C in GCSE English and Maths, as well as an NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or an equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience of working with children and being able to meet their needs, with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and phonics programs is also essential. A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing, alongside the ability to build positive relationships within the school community, will be key attributes of successful applicants.
