Our client is a proudly independent practice located in the heart of Liverpool, a city recently voted the number one city in the UK for staycations thanks to its lively and buzzing atmosphere, friendly people, and historical attractions. This practice has been providing expert animal care in the region for many years and boasts a large, purpose-built facility fully equipped with modern amenities including two theatres, a Dental suite, an X-ray suite, Ultrasound, a Dental X-ray machine, separate cat, dog, and small furry animal wards, an isolation unit, and much more.
They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with imaging experience to join their friendly team, which consists of 5 Veterinary Surgeons (soon to be 6.5), including two surgery certificate holders, orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue, and a vet currently studying towards a certificate in business management. You will also be supported by a fabulous nursing team, including a Head Nurse, a Deputy Head Nurse, RVNs, and SVNs, as well as a highly experienced front-of-house team.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and a strong team player, seamlessly integrating with both clinical and non-clinical team members. You must be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who does not need support in surgery. A certificate holder would be ideal, or someone who wants to pursue a certificate after probation.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 or 3 day week
• Flexible rota 3 long days: 8am - 7pm or 8am - 5pm, 9am - 6pm, 10am - 7pm with a set day off each week
• 1:4 weekends: 8:30am - 3:30pm
• No OOH
