Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Harlow Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to support student progress and development Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance student understanding and achievement Assess student learning needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3 Experience working with students with SEN Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student progress effectively Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Working with learners in their homes, care homes, schools or local libraries All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
