We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to join our Warehouse team at our Chesterfield site. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills, you should have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication, and tenacity are key attributes, while the ability to work proactively on your own initiative is also essential for the success of our department.
Shift Pattern: 5 nights from 7 (22:00 - 06:00)
Salary: £26,191.62 plus £2,000 nights allowance
You will contribute to the overall success of the site and report directly to the site Stock & Systems Manager.
Job responsibilities of a Stock Controller include:
* Liaising with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads, and making necessary adjustments.
* Managing the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
* Accurately updating pickfaces to maintain stock integrity, ensuring all checks are completed first.
* Managing the Hold and Release process.
* Providing stock traceability information as required, such as for recalls.
* Investigating and reporting all short shipments accurately.
* Completing daily and weekly reports.
* Managing multi-client and multi-customer queries.
* Assisting with stock management investigations.
* Performing additional duties such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries, and sample handling.
Qualifications

* Previous stock control experience.
* Flexibility to cover all areas of the stock department.
* High attention to detail.
* Good time management skills to meet daily targets.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility in work approach and shift patterns.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
