BKR International has an excellent opportunity arisen for a highly organised and motivated individual looking to start or grow their career in administration, events, and membership services. Full training and mentorship will be provided. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the administration in the region and assist in the delivery of events and activities coordinated by the EMEA Regional Director.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
* Assist in booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation for the Regional Director.
* Help maintain databases and file management systems to support efficient operations.
* Provide administrative support, including diary and inbox management.
* Assist in preparing monthly expense reports for the RD and the EMEA office.
* Support invoicing for member-related services and ensure timely collections.
Event Planning and Delivery
* Provide administrative support for BKR EMEA engagement activities, including conferences, workshops, and training.
* Assist in managing registration systems for all EMEA events, ensuring accurate records of attendees and event details.
* Support the planning and delivery of the annual regional conference, assisting with logistics, scheduling, and attendee coordination.
Help coordinate and organize EMEA committees and working groups.
Media, Communications, and Member Services
* Assist in responding to member inquiries and help maintain accurate contact lists.
* Support the creation of newsletters, event invitations, and social media updates.
* Ensure EMEA member contact and mailing lists are kept up to date.
* Help onboard new EMEA members, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources.
* Monitor member firm LinkedIn pages and share relevant content with the wider BKR audience via social media and the BKR website.
* Conduct research on industry trends and member needs to support programming and outreach efforts.
Qualifications
* Some experience in an office or customer service environment.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). CRM system experience is a plus but not required.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Degree preferred but not required – we welcome candidates with strong organizational and communication skills who are eager to learn.
