Due to the retirement of our current Premises Manager, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Premises Manager to work as part of our fabulous team. You will need to be trustworthy, flexible, take pride in your work and be able to work with all members of the school community. We have a well maintained school site that requires a commitment to keeping it that way. We have high standards in St Joseph’s and are looking for someone with initiative to make it even better.
You will be responsible to the Headteacher and work in close liaison on a daily basis with the Headteacher. Your main responsibilities are to ensure the school is open and ready to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors. We operate on a split shift contract so we will need someone who is flexible to meet the needs of our school.
Occasional out of hours and weekend work may be required. You will be responsible for locking up the school building.
You will have a very good standard of written language and possess a working knowledge of building maintenance, decorating and general health and safety requirements.
