Description Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the legal department by providing paralegal services related to commercial contracts, compliance, and general legal matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with business units across the organisation to ensure legal compliance, mitigate risk, and facilitate smooth business operations. You will be based in our UK headquarters, reporting to our VP Legal Affairs and supporting other lawyers and senior leadership of the International Commerce business. The role will be hands-on, results-oriented, paced, assisting on a diverse range of day-to-day business and operations matters. Responsibilities and duties: Contract Management and Drafting : draft, review, and assist with various commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and sales contracts. Legal Research and Analysis : conduct legal research on a wide range of commercial matters, including industry regulations, laws, and best practices; provide summaries and reports of legal findings to support business decision-making. Document and enquiry management and reporting : triage enquiries and manage departmentl mailboxes, assist with maintaining records, correspondence and other critical documents. Administrative Support : provide general administrative support to the legal department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, preparation of legal documents, various compliance checks and department template management. Knowledge & Experience 5 years of paralegal experience in an in-house legal department or large law firm Relevant qualification preferred Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to support in-house lawyers in multiple office locations Ability to maintain the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills If you are a motivated, detail-oriented, experienced paralegal with a strong commercial legal background, we would love to hear from you.
