About the role
We are on the hunt for an energetic Account Executive to join our dynamic commercial team. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to expand their skills and make their mark within the fast-paced fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, specifically within the food industry. You will have direct relationships with key retail partners, help to develop and grow our businesses together and learn about the amazing world of Continental food and the production/supply chain that delivers it.
Key Duties
* Assist the Senior National Account Manager in overseeing key retail accounts, contributing to the execution of effective sales strategies to bolster sales and profit growth.
* Foster and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders within the retail sector.
* Contribute to the analysis of market trends and competitor activity, identifying potential opportunities and crucial issues.
* Aid in the preparation and presentation of sales forecasts and performance updates for the accounts, communicating observations clearly and taking decisive actions.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams, including marketing, development, and finance, ensuring smooth operations and proficient account management.
* Engage in sales and product training, along with other professional development opportunities, enhancing industry knowledge and skills.
* Learn and develop understanding of the Continental foods that we supply, be involved with innovation development and build expertise in the categories relating to the lead account.
