We are delighted to be working with a fantastic Education Sector organisation, as they look to recruit for a new Finance Assistant to join their best in class Finance department.
Finance Assistant
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Location: Birmingham (fully office based)
Hours: Monday - Thursday (8-4), Friday (8-3:30) - term time only
Duties/Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for all incoming queries
* Be proactive in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the business
* Use the Finance system to input and maintain information in accordance with procedures
* Process purchase orders from requisitions, and in accordance with agreed authorisation and timescales
* Provide ad-hoc support across the finance team where required
Requirements:
* Can commute to Birmingham 5 days per week
* Education sector experience (strongly preferred)
