Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer

3 on 3 off (3 weeks of days/3 weeks of nights)

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to become a key player in ensuring machinery runs efficiently, safely, and reliably across a modern manufacturing facility. You'll be working on a rotational 3-week day / 3-week night shift alongside a brilliant team of engineers and technicians, with real opportunities to grow your skills and develop your career.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Preventive Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
1. Conduct routine PM tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition
2. Spot wear and tear before it becomes an issue – and help shape smarter schedules
Breakdowns & Troubleshooting
1. Act fast to diagnose and resolve equipment faults
2. Prioritise safety and efficiency when production lines go down
3. Work closely with the Plant Leader to align maintenance with production needs
4. Communicate proactively about downtime, repairs, and improvements
CMMS & Record Keeping
1. Update work orders and asset history in the CMMS
2. Help analyse trends and recommend reliability improvements
Spare Parts & Inventory
1. Make sure the right parts are always on hand – and stock levels are spot on
Safety First, Always
1. Champion a world-class safety culture
2. Lead by example with PPE, procedures, and reporting
3. Engage in ongoing health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
Quality & Environment
1. Follow ISO standards (9001 & 14001)
2. Identify ways to reduce waste and energy use

What We’re Looking For:
1. Experienced electrically biased engineer, either time served, degree qualified or similar
2. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
4. Comfortable working on a rotational 3 weeks days / 3 weeks nights shift pattern
