About the Role
Base Location: Reading (Forbury) or Havant/Portsmouth (Penner Road)
Salary: £46,626 - £54,154 and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - hybrid working.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our team! Our Connections Contract team are responsible for ensuring all Major Connections Contracts are produced to a high standard, and in line with our License Conditions and Guaranteed Standards of Performance.
As part of this team, you'll manage your own portfolio of Connections customers, providing an excellent service to all of them at each touch point, managing their expectations and assisting them with any queries they may have.
You'll also liaise with a range of stakeholders to ensure SSEN's needs and those of the customers are fully met and that SSEN remains compliant with regulation.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
1. Managing a portfolio of major connections customers.
2. Preparation and management of commercial connections contracts.
3. Managing relationships and communication with key industry bodies.
4. Managing internal relationships within the organisation acting as the voice of the customer.
5. Work closely with Project Managers ensuring connections projects are progressing as agreed and in good health in terms of scope, budget and programme.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
1. Relevant commercial contracts experience and an understanding of the regulatory environment in which we operate.
2. A track record of problem solving and creating and implementing processes.
3. Experience in managing stakeholders and customers during complex project lifecycles.
4. Excellent organisational skills which facilitate meeting deadlines.
5. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
