Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a new Ministry and Leadership Trainee for our Foundation. This is a full-time role, working 45 hours per week, including evening and weekend commitments, during term time only. This role is unique in its scope and purpose in the context of a great community where fun, fellowship and faith are highly valued. These roles typically suit young adults who are open to being developed and have a strong Christian faith which they are willing to share. You will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of teaching, ministry, sports, and a huge variety of activities; all in the context of a strong and caring community. Other roles and responsibilities to include: Encourage all pupils in their faith, with training and support provided. Assist the Chaplain in the administration and publicity of the Chapel and CU programmes. Assisting coaching staff with PE and Hockey / Rugby / Netball sessions. Take part in the life of a busy boarding school, which includes regular day, evening, and weekend duties plus school trips.
