They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assessor/Trainer to join the team at their client, a leading Further Education College based in Cambridge.
Role Overview:
As an Assessor/Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and training to students studying Property Maintenance and Carpentry. Your role will involve assessing learners’ practical skills, providing guidance, and supporting them to achieve their qualifications. You will be working with a diverse group of students, ranging from beginners to those pursuing advanced qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering assessments and training in Property Maintenance and Carpentry
* Supporting learners in the development of their skills and knowledge
* Providing constructive feedback and support to students to ensure their progress
* Preparing and maintaining teaching materials and resources
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning
* Ensuring that students meet the required industry standards and criteria for qualifications
* Maintaining up-to-date records of student progress and assessment outcomes
About You:
They are looking for someone who has:
* A strong background in Property Maintenance and Carpentry
* Relevant qualifications in Property Maintenance and Carpentry (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience in training or assessing within a vocational setting (ideally within Further Education)
* A passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with others
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
* A commitment to maintaining high standards in both teaching and assessment
