Are you passionate about preserving our coastal environments and embracing sustainable practices for future generations? Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team for 6 months as Project Assistant.
Job Title: PCF Project Assistant Working Hours: 26 weeks 37.5 hours per week Salary: £23,500 per annum Pro Rata Responsible to: PCF Programme Manager Location: Pier House, Pier Road, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6TR Work with: PCF Team according project needs.
This exciting role will involve working with the PCF team in the delivery of our Sustainable Recreation projects. We will aim to support the development of a work plan in line with your interests. You will be part of a busy and enthusiastic team and will need to assist in the different areas of our work.

Principal Responsibilities
Working with key PCF projects the Project Assistant will:
1. Assist in the creation of communication resources and online content
2. Assist in the creation of social media posts focused on changing behaviour to reduce disturbance to Marine Wildlife and promoting agreed messaging
3. Support the organisation to plan, deliver and run project events and meetings
4. Assist with project administration tasks
5. As a small team you will be needed to support other areas of PCF’s work with tasks at a similar level
Skills and experience we are seeking include:
Essential:
6. Good communication skills
7. An interest in the key issues in Pembrokeshire communities
8. An interest in nature conservation and/or sustainable recreation
9. Willingness to consider the views and opinions of others
10. Self-motivated, with the ability to work without direct supervision at times
11. Flexibility, willingness to learn new skills, and try new approaches
12. 5 GCSE or equivalent at C or above
Desirable:
13. Work or volunteering experience.
14. Completion of a post 16+ education course.
15. Ability to speak Welsh.
16. Knowledge of local area.
The role is for 26 weeks, and you will be expected to commit to 37.5 hours per week.
PCF Offices are in Pembroke Dock, all staff are expected to work in the office for 2 days per week.
You will be issued with a work laptop to enable remote working should you wish to.
You will be entitled to 13 days paid leave during this time, plus Bank Holidays.
Training needs will be agreed with your line manager.
