We are excited to partner with our client, a leading organisation, to recruit a skilled and commercially focused Legal Counsel to join their UK Legal Team. The Opportunity: As a Legal Counsel, you will act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the business, including senior management, offering commercially driven legal advice to support operations in the UK and internationally. You will be part of a high-performing UK Legal Team, integrated within a wider international legal network, offering excellent exposure and opportunities for career development. Key Responsibilities: Provide commercially oriented legal advice to various departments, ensuring operations function within acceptable legal risk parameters. Assist in mitigating legal liabilities that may pose financial or reputational risks to the company. Offer guidance on contractual agreements including procurement, sales and marketing, research and development, and confidentiality matters. Advise on disputes, employment law, intellectual property, regulatory and competition law, treasury matters, and contract terms. Support corporate governance, including company secretarial duties such as drafting board minutes and resolutions. Manage and engage external legal support where necessary within approved budgets. Deliver training to business functions on contractual terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements. Monitor legal and regulatory changes, providing proactive advice to the business. What We're Looking For: UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with 1- 5 years PQE. Candidates with both a private practice or In-House background will be considered. Strong experience handling a broad range of commercial agreements with excellent drafting, reviewing and negotiation skills. A commercially astute approach with the ability to provide risk-based legal solutions. Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to develop legal expertise in various areas. What's On Offer: Competitive Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
