This is an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor based in St. Helens to work on various Your Housing Group sites across the North West. As a working Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of a small and supportive team and will use your previous experience to deliver grounds maintenance, landscaping, and environmental services to Your Housing Group's customers, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer care at all times. The role includes a small rota of sites that you will maintain yourself or with another member of the team. What will my working week look like? Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, starting and finishing work at Roundwood Drive.
What will I be responsible for doing?
* Supervising a team of Grounds Maintenance and Environmental Services Operatives and ensuring they carry out their duties in a safe manner.
* Organising and planning team tasks and duties ensuring YHG meets their Service Level Agreements at a high standard.
* Carrying out site inspections using iAuditor.
* Resolving any enquiries or complaints made by YHG customers or stakeholders.
* Ensuring high levels of customer service.
* Carrying out duties such as grass cutting, pruning, herbicide applications, or ad hoc works.
* Possessing good knowledge of grounds maintenance and general health & safety.
* Being a strong team player with solid communication skills.
* Being trained and competent to use and maintain a range of associated powered landscaping tools and equipment.
* Demonstrating the ability to use your initiative.
* Holding a full valid UK driving licence.
* Carrying out any other duties in line with the role.
