About the role Our Operations Learning Academy (OLA) has an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join an innovative team, developing & deploying cutting edge L&D solutions to contribute to the improved performance of our Global Packaging Operations. Working closely with team members, subject matter experts and third-party training partners, you will produce and manage learning content and communications, support their deployment and review learning results. Your remit will include but not limited to: Create learning content, supporting solutions that follow the 70-20-10 methodology, based on target population matched to Operations and People Strategies; Work closely with subject matter experts on the design of content, using their expertise to turn content into effective learning experiences (including designing and producing e-Learning modules using authoring software); Upload e-learning materials and support with the setup of channels and assigning of modules to audiences when necessary. Write relevant communications & issue, follow up and report on activity and completion rates; Extract data to understand the uptake of learning solutions and help build reports; Update the Operations Learning Academy solutions catalogue to ensure that all the information contained is accurate, up-to-date and regularly maintained. About you Previous experience in Learning and Development, including instructional design and e-module authoring tools experience, designing and deploying a variety of training styles – blended, digital, virtual and classroom; Competent in the 70-20-10 methodology; Familiar with e-learning best practice and generally knowledgeable in technological developments in Learning and Development; Resilient and persuasive with effective communication skills; Ability to prioritise workload versus deadlines, accuracy and an eye for detail; Understanding or previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment; Flexibility for UK/International travel is required.
