A great opportunity has arisen with a leading UK private label food manufacturer supplying to major retailers in the UK. You will be joining as a Quality Coordinator to liaise with suppliers and customers and manage all customer complaints.
Key Accountabilities
1. To be first port of call for all customer complaints.
2. Liaise directly with retailers, consumers and relevant authorities in relation to complaints for branded and own label products.
3. Liaise with suppliers to investigate and respond to customer complaints, product non-conformances and QIN’s.
4. To ensure that the relevant Technical Managers are aware of any serious complaints or emerging complaints trends.
5. To provide reports for internal and external customers.
6. To monitor the quality performance of products through the assessment of on-line review scores and consumer comments/feedback.
7. To facilitate the delivery of the product quality framework through the co-ordination of benchmarking sessions and consistency panels.
8. To support in the delivery of end-to-end Quality Attribute Sheets.
9. To undertake traceability and mock recall exercises when requested.
10. To ensure that complaints are acknowledged, investigated and effectively closed out within a specified time limit to match customer expectations.
11. To ensure that complaints trends are highlighted and actioned swiftly.
12. To provide accurate complaints and non-conformance information to relevant internal personnel and external customers as required including trend analysis and reporting.
Person Profile
1. Previous experience in a Quality/Technical role.
2. Ideally some previous experience with complaints.
3. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
4. Ability to self-manage and work well within a team.
5. Collating and presenting information.
6. An eye for detail.
7. Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to agreed deadlines.
8. Determination, enthusiasm, and commitment.
9. Quality approach and attention to detail.
