Job Purpose
* Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation advisory and planning services
* Oversee corporate tax reviews for audit clients, ensuring compliance at every step
* Support Partners with corporate tax restructuring and due diligence
* Assist with the preparation of research and development tax credit claims
* Deal with ad-hoc queries across the wider firm when required
* Identify tax advisory and planning opportunities
* Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
* Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
* Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
* Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development
* Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
* Qualified by experience also considered
* Corporate tax and business tax compliance experience
* A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
* Solid tax advisory knowledge
* Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage own workload autonomously
* Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
* Self-motivated, professional and reliable
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
* An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
