Job Description Police Detective Location: Bedfordshire Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £28,551 (plus £1,500 South Eastern Allowance). Police Detectives can expect to be earning a salary of £46,044 (plus £1,500 South Eastern Allowance) starting your seventh year in the role. The accelerated detective programme, also known as the ‘ Detective Degree Holder Entry Programme ’ (D-DHEP) is a two-year programme that combines on the job learning alongside working towards a fully funded graduate diploma with Anglia Ruskin University, all whilst earning a competitive salary and making a difference. Following successful completion of the two-year training period, you will be confirmed as a Detective Constable and posted within one of Bedfordshire Police specialist investigative teams.
