While the primary focus will be on telephone and online interactions, there will also be opportunities to attend events, visit advice firms, and participate in team meetings as needed. As a Telephone Account Manager (internally known as Wealth Sales Consultant - Strategic Accounts) at Quilter, you will play a pivotal role in the UK Platform Sales Distribution team. Your main responsibility will be to effectively manage a panel of strategically aligned accounts, maximising new business opportunities by marketing Quilter products and supporting company initiatives as directed by the Strategic Development Team. You will enhance strategic relationships and support sales and marketing campaigns. Your success will be measured by the new business generated from your accounts and the efficiency and effectiveness of issue management and customer service. You will develop a deep understanding of your panel, including their product mix and gaps, and identify key contacts within each account. Maintaining accurate management information in line with the centrally agreed distribution plan will be crucial. Staying up to date on Quilter product developments and propositions, you will execute agreed marketing and sales campaigns with the goal of maximising returns and opportunities. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues, proactively suggesting ways to enhance returns. About You To excel as a Telephone Account Manager (Wealth Sales Consultant - Strategic Accounts), you should have a solid understanding of the UK Platform market and ideally possess previous financial services telephone sales experience. Familiarity with UK investment portfolios, including funds and models, is preferred. You should have attained QCF Level 4 or be working towards this qualification. Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM tool would be advantageous. While a deep understanding of Quilter's key products and services is not essential, it would be beneficial. We can provide the necessary training to get you up to speed. Given that this is a telephone-based sales role, you will need proven sales and relationship management skills. Success in this role requires being a team player in a sales environment where overall team success is prioritised.
