Wellington Health & Fitness Club is currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual with experience in the leisure or hospitality industry to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis as a Recreation Assistant. Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a dual-use independent private members club serving 2000 members and the local community sporting clubs, as well as accommodating the College's PE and Sports programme throughout the academic year.

About The Role
Responsible for the provision of excellent customer service and the day-to-day operation of the Club, including cleaning and maintenance, preparation of areas and equipment for sessions, maintaining a safe pool environment through excellent lifeguarding practices, and attendance at regular pool training.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing excellent customer service throughout the Club, maintaining a positive image to customers and the public.
* Ensuring safety and control of customers within the Club, especially in the pool environment via effective lifeguarding.
* Assisting customers with the use of facilities and activities to encourage maximum use of the Club.
* Maintaining a presentable, clean Club ensuring all pool brands are delivered safely.
* Carrying out routine monitoring and basic maintenance of plant, equipment, and fittings as required.
