We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Legal Secretary to join our busy Southside legal office. The ideal candidate will have proven administrative skills and be comfortable using their initiative to provide support to the solicitors and excellent service to the firm's clients.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Audio typing
Email correspondence
Diary Management
Managing telephone enquiries
Preparing files
Handling incoming and outgoing mail
Communicating with clients and other legal professionals
Assisting solicitors in preparing for court hearings
Qualifications
Previous administrative experience is required but legal experience is not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to time manage effectively
Discretion in handling confidential information
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Professional demeanour
Attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative
This role may suit candidates who are ultimately looking to obtain a traineeship.
