TSA Surveying Ltd are delighted to be supporting a client-side organisation during an interesting phase of their journey in their search for a MRICS Estates Manager.
Further to an acquisition by a private equity investment and the unveiling of their growth plans, this role has been created to support the Property Director by conducting a strategic review of their locations nationwide and creating a vision identifying opportunities for acquisitions and disposals, all the while supporting the business's ambitious targets around environmental matters.
Their current portfolio consists of a blend of freehold and leasehold properties totalling around 200 and are all situated in England and Wales and are predominantly operational transport hubs, offices, staff facilities, and retail sites.
Overall management of the existing portfolio is fundamental to the role with responsibilities including:
1. Management of lease expiries and renewals
2. Service charges
3. Addressing holding over leases
4. Negotiating Heads of Terms
5. Liaison with internal legal, finance, and operational teams
6. Instructing external consultants on lease renewals and rent reviews
Our client, the Property Director, is looking for someone structured and organised who can strongly assist with the above duties, who is also commercially aware and able to communicate well with internal teams.
Salary: £60k plus car allowance plus bonus
Location: Home based with nationwide travel in England/Wales where site visits are required - fully subsidised.
