We have an exciting new role for a National Account Support Ambassador who will be integral to the success of our national sales strategy, ensuring that we have a consistent, joined-up approach to managing our customer base. There really couldn’t be a better time to join, as you’ll make the key decisions, shape the strategy and implement your growth plan.
As a National Account Support Ambassador your purpose will be to support the National Account Manager on the selected customers. To ensure we develop the customer and support account activity which delivers optimum service in line with the service level agreement; whilst aiming to maximise revenue and growth targets across all preferred supply opportunities covered in our Agreement.
Key Responsibilities
* To deliver a high level of customer service in partnership with Service Centres and Business Sales Teams.
* Engage field sales, specialist functions and operations in delivering account plans and resolving customer issues.
* Support National Account Manager in delivering against agreed account plans that maximise Sunbelt Rentals revenue across all preferred supply opportunities covered in our Agreement.
* Develop successful long term business relationships by networking with key decision makers at different levels and functions across the customer’s business in order to maximise Sunbelt Rentals revenue and share of the business.
* Facilitate the development of effective business relationships between Sunbelt Rentals staff and key client staff across all levels and functions, in a way that cements the existing business and provides a platform for revenue growth.
* Support any tender process in a way that maximises Sunbelt Rentals opportunity to secure new business.
* Support the credit control teams to help effectively manage the debtor status of each customer and ensure that they remain within their agreed debtor days.

To succeed as a National Account Support Ambassador you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
* Experience of developing effective customer relationships, generating real business growth and winning and developing new business.
* Experience of plant hire or construction industry.
* A knowledge and understanding of Service Level Agreements and how to use them as a means to facilitate revenue.
* Track record in delivering clear and measurable improvements in revenue.
* Demonstrable experience of influencing and negotiation skills.
* Managed approach with the ability to balance day to day activities with a focus on delivering long term objectives.
* Innovative approach with the ability to move quickly in order to exploit business opportunities.
* High level of personal drive and motivation for achieving stretching targets.
* Numerical reasoning and analytical skills to review and draw appropriate conclusions from performance and KPIs.
