Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 5 Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Start: ASAP Duration: 8 weeks Rate: £16 - £20 per hour Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:30pm, 37.5 hours per week We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician ACT to join our client's team in Birmingham. This role involves supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and dispensing of medications, managing stock levels, and providing excellent customer service. What will your responsibilities be: Accredited Checking Technician ACT based in the intermediate care units at Ann Marie Howes, Perry Trees, and CU27, plus providing cover for the dispensaries at Moseley Hall and West Heath Pharmacies. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, checking patients' own drugs, assessments for self-administration, managing stocks, arranging for prescriptions to be written, liaising with community pharmacy, accuracy checking pharmacist prescribing, dispensing and checking the accuracy of others' dispensing, answering enquiries, and placing orders with suppliers. Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification Experience of ward-based work Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a team How to apply?
