Senior Bookkeeper / Bookkeeping Manager
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience within a practice setting

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year (plus bonus)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Manager to join their team. The role offers a blend of office-based and home working, making it a flexible opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bank reconciliations
Process bills and expenses
Assist with VAT preparation and Year-End Accounts
Communicate regularly with clients
Address client queries and requests
Review the team's work
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Maintain and nurture customer relationships
Support the development and training of junior team members Skills & Experience Required:
Strong VAT knowledge
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience within a practice setting
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong client communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to think creatively and offer tailored client solutions
AAT Level 4 (preferred but not essential) Benefits:
