Our client is a well-run Top Tier contractor who is looking for an experienced Construction Assistant Design Manager to work on new health and commercial build frameworks. There is already 8 years of work secured.
Your day-to-day duties will include the following:
1. Assisting in managing the design process using your commercial, contractual, planning, and technical expertise.
2. Supporting, understanding, and advising the client regarding the requirements and obligations in the development of building design.
3. Encouraging and working with consultants to produce accurate work using their experience, resources, and verve.
4. Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice, where appropriate.
5. Quality Control
6. Design Management
7. Managing design and financial risks
8. Reverse Engineering
You will be working with a dynamic design team on a landmark construction project from day one.
