Our client is an independent, family-orientated 6.5-vet practice that has continued to flourish. Starting as a purely ambulatory service, they quickly expanded, establishing a permanent base. In 2017, they completely rebuilt their premises and opened a new branch clinic in a nearby village, which is currently consult-only.
They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with some experience who has completed or is working through their VetGDP. Our client's VetGDP advisor is passionate about teaching and has guided numerous new vets on their veterinary journey.
You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team comprising of veterinary surgeons with a diverse range of experience. Regardless of where you are in your career, our client offers the ideal environment for progression, allowing you to follow your interests and enhance your skills with the support of experienced vets and their fantastic team of 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 5 receptionists.
Their purpose-built premises are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to facilitate the highest standard of care for patients. This includes Idexx in-house lab equipment including a urinalysis machine, DR digital x-ray, DR dental x-ray, ultrasound with color flow Doppler, and a Tono-Pen.
Our client prioritises your well-being. Your schedule is carefully planned to ensure dedicated time for phone calls, completing notes, and taking breaks. As they originated as an ambulatory practice, they continue to offer house calls three afternoons a week, with voluntary coverage, allowing you to choose between home visits and practicing at the clinic.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week with a set day off
• 3:14 Saturday mornings (9am - 12pm)
• No OOH
