Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Family Support Worker/Family Coordinator to join East Riding of Yorkshire Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct whole-family assessments and develop outcome-focused family support plans.
2. Lead and coordinate the Team Around the Family process to deliver tailored packages of support.
3. Identify and manage risks or safeguarding concerns following policy and procedures.
4. Work collaboratively with partners to share information and address family needs effectively.
5. Build professional, trusting relationships with families to support engagement and participation.
6. Promote trauma-informed practices to enhance family strengths and achieve positive outcomes.
7. Prepare and present accurate records and reports for multi-agency meetings, case conferences, or courts.
8. Ensure the voices of children and parents are reflected in all aspects of work and decision-making.
9. Provide ongoing evaluation of service delivery to identify and demonstrate best practices.
10. Engage creatively with families, encouraging participation in support services tailored to their needs.
11. Maintain confidentiality and ensure appropriate information sharing in line with data protection policies.
