The Role
The Psychosocial Interventions Lead role is an opportunity to get involved in and learn more about the strategic, operational and management activities of substance misuse treatment, helping you develop your portfolio of expertise and experience for future career advancement.
You will hold a smaller caseload of some of the service's most complex and vulnerable people. Their complexities will include physical and mental health, homelessness and insecure housing, domestic violence and abuse, and isolation.
Case management will involve providing regular, focussed support and advocacy, risk management, engaging and liaising with other services to provide wrap-around care, and assertively and creatively trying to re-engage individuals who are disengaging.
You will support the development and implementation of evidence-based group work programmes as well as lead on service projects and events that enables people participation and raise awareness.
We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues
The Service
i-access is an integrated service delivered in partnership by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Via is commissioned to provide substance misuse treatment for people aged 18 and onwards in Surrey.
This service is an established community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning, it consists of both clinical and psychosocial and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox.
