Job Title: Level 3 Vehicle Technician
Location: Worchester
We have a requirement for a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to work out of Worchester for a permanent position.
Salary: £28,000 per year plus Bonus (up to £2,000 per month).
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday & alternate Saturdays
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM plus overtime available

Key Responsibilities:
1. Works as part of the workshop team to carry out scheduled vehicle service and repair work, in accordance with the relevant manufacturers' standards.
2. Carries out all workshop work efficiently and safely, to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
3. Examines vehicles and diagnoses non-routine defects, either in the workshop or during a road test, using knowledge of the vehicles and technologies concerned.
4. Examines vehicles and reports defects against relevant regulatory bodies.
5. Carries out each job within the budgeted time as set out on the job card to maintain own labour productivity.
6. Works in accordance with workshop and Centre Health & Safety requirements.
7. Maintains workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
8. Takes personal responsibility for the daily maintenance of workshop equipment and reports equipment defects or problems needing attention.
9. Follows key processes to achieve specified quality and efficiency targets.
10. Works with the Centre to develop and improve more efficient processes.
11. Communicates with customers to summarise the details of the work required or carried out, and answers their questions.
12. Provides detailed technical explanations to customers in a way that recognises their level of technical proficiency.
13. Builds rapport and understanding with customers to deliver satisfaction.
14. Coaches and supports apprentice technicians by explaining repairs step-by-step or allowing them to carry out part of a job.
15. Provides assistance and guidance to colleagues who are less skilled or knowledgeable about a particular vehicle or technology.
16. Attends specialised training as required by the relevant manufacturer.
17. Collaborates with colleagues and other teams across the Centre to provide seamless service to customers.
18. Ensures opportunities for sales are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
19. Reports on technical problems using appropriate procedures.
20. Handles customer data in line with GDPR.
21. Performs ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Minimum Requirements:
Must hold Level 3 vehicle technician competence.
