Engineer (Asset Management)
Persistent Full-Time Position in Grangemouth
The Asset Management function at Altrad Babcock offers highly specialized engineering services and equipment support to customers, minimizing cost, maximizing return, and mitigating risk throughout their asset integrity lifecycle. We seek exceptional candidates to join our mission to become a fully certified Asset Management engineering services provider for consultancy and integrated projects across global low-carbon energy and infrastructure markets.
This team provides a diverse range of services primarily in power generation industries, including thermal, nuclear, and renewable sources, as well as process, oil & gas, petrochemical, and emerging fusion energy research sectors.
We are looking for an Engineer to join our team in Grangemouth.
Key Responsibilities
* Create method statements for site activities.
* Develop and manage Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
* Liaise with client engineers and NDT subcontractors.
* Issue procedures & method statements for site works.
* Manage Technical Queries (TQs).
* Coordinate client document approvals and registers.
This role will evolve (with training provided) to include pressure vessel design, pipework integrity investigations, fitness-for-service assessments, damage mechanism analysis, technical proposal generation, project management, and more.
Requirements
A minimum 2:2 honours degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required, along with 1-2 years of experience in an engineering-related role.
Candidates should possess assertiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with personnel at all levels.
Knowledge of industry standards, quality assurance/control principles, materials science, welding, and metallurgy is essential.

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum
