Youll work with the team to deliver high quality support and accommodation to people fleeing domestic abuse, including their children. You will be the first point of of call for external enquires, referrals, admissions and to the residents residing in the refuge accommodation.
Job requirements Ensure customers feel welcome when they first move in and they are fully aware of the support they can access as well as their responsibilities within the accommodation,
Provide customer-focused practical and emotional support.
Manage referrals, carry out any necessary risk assessments and assign accommodation based on customer needs.
Maintain customer focused safety plans and risk management plans to keep the customer and their family safe, all while keeping accurate records.
Be the first point of call at refuge and respond to any issues or emergencies in a refuge setting.
Assess any risk or safeguarding issues and respond appropriately, making sure that incidents are recorded appropriately.
Support the team to meet void targets by turning rooms around ready for new customers to move in.
What theyre looking for A good standard of education, for example GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
Good ICT skills and familiar with Microsoft office.
In this role youll be working a rolling rota of four shifts on and four shifts off, working 4.15pm-8.15pm, so youll need to be flexible and available to work throughout the week.
Experience of handling personal data, working in line with GDPR.
A genuine understanding of people in abusive relationships. Youll be their voice so youll need great communication skills to provide them with the best support to keep them safe.
Great problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
Able to work independently and remotely, being self-motivated with great time management. Youll be able to meet deadlines and make and keep clear factual recordings of information.

Youll need a full UK driving licence and a vehicle suitable for business use.
