About the role Join our Health & Safety team based in Brighton, where you’ll support teams across our office and manufacturing sites. You'll work closely with teams to promote best practices, safety culture and champion a safe and positive working environment Manage inbox requests, coordinate meetings, and support safety forum follow-up Arrange site visits and inspections, preparing all required documentation and safety arrangements Conduct regular site walks to monitor compliance, engage with employees, and identify areas for improvement Develop and deliver health and safety training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and mandatory courses Maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring accessibility and accuracy Record and analyse safety data to support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement Record and analyse safety data to inform policy updates and improvements Stay up to date with health and safety legislation, attending training to maintain knowledge and support compliance Respond to urgent safety concerns and support incident resolution Support internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation process and implementation of actions Work with departments to embed safety into everyday practices Travel to Eastbourne as and when required. What are we looking for? Strong organisational skills, ability to manage a complex workload with high attention to detail. Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships at all levels. Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety policies, legislation or similar industry. The right attitude is more important to us than your skills or experience.
