Job Description
3. Manage and maintain financial records in a timely and accurate manner
4. Process invoices and payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
5. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts
6. Track expenses and process expense reports
7. Assist with month-end closing activities
8. Provide supporting documentation for audits
9. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
10. Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
The Successful Applicant
A successful AP Assistant should have:
11. A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
12. Proficiency in English and in MS Office
13. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
14. Ability to work as part of a team and independently
15. Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
