We're seeking an exceptional Programme Manager of Change & Transformation to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategy team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices in Bicester, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.
The Opportunity
Within Strategy, the Business Change and Transformation team is responsible for identifying, shaping and executing a broad and impactful programme of transformation and change activities, as well as implementing initiatives to continually create efficiencies and evolve our ways of working, capabilities, operating models, processes and technologies.
Reporting directly to the Head of Change and Transformation, the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing successful change programmes. They will ensure that the impact of change initiatives are understood by stakeholders, and that those impacted by the change are supported and prepared to adopt new ways of working. Their primary responsibility will be to design, develop and implement change management strategies and maximise colleagues' adoption and usage of required changes whilst ensuring continual embedding of culture and values. They will ensure that changes to business processes, systems, technology and ways of working are identified, mitigated and that benefits and progress is communicated. They will also ensure that changes to technology, ways of working, processes and governance are embedded and sustained in order to deliver the desired business outcomes and benefits.
What you'll do
* Understand and collaboratively shape the future state and identify what changes in processes, operating models, capabilities and or technologies are needed to achieve the change, deliver the planned benefits and translate them into requirements and effective change management plans and approaches that are delivered and measured for success
* Create relevant and tailored strategies to support adoption of the changes
* Identification and management of anticipated resistance to change
* Create & agree change success metrics with stakeholders and functions and then measure, monitor and report them
* Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications, ensuring consistent and clear messages, appropriately timed, which maximise engagement and ownership in individual businesses
* Evaluate user readiness for change and adoption within the context of other activities
* Lead the design and delivery of training programmes ensuring are tailored according to change impact and audience
* Consult and coach stakeholders, managers and teams on Change management best practices and approach
* Work alongside different functions to drive process improvement and scalable solutions that work across a complex ecosystem of business lines and verticals
* Analyse, evaluate, and overcome change program risks and issues. Communicate risks and/or issues to change programme managers and stakeholders in a timely manner with mitigation options
Who you are
* Demonstrable and extensive change management experience delivering technology and business change with proven understanding of processes involved in introducing and delivering change, ideally within an automotive environment
* Extensive knowledge of and ability to expertly apply change management principles throughout a complex organisational structure
* Experience using proven change methodology, reporting and change frameworks
* Experience of communications planning and delivery to support change initiatives, and able to clearly articulate messages to a wide variety of audiences
* Experience in working effectively at the initiation/start-up stage of any Change programme
* Experience of supporting the definition of business change outcomes with regard to benefits management
* Extensive experience and comfort managing several concurrent change projects of varying structures and types
* Extensive experience of identifying and mitigating risks, issues and dependencies as well as leading the resolution of issues / blockers
* Business analysis experience e.g. requirements definition, process mapping, operating model definition
* Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
* Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities within a dynamic working environment
