About the role:
SEN TA: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your expertise will directly impact the lives of young learners. You will work closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEMH interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake additional training.
Key Responsibilities: As an SEN TA, you will:
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEMH needs.
• Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt lesson plans and resources
.• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Promote inclusion, helping students engage fully with the school curriculum and activities.
