A vacancy has arisen for an experienced mental health nurse within the Mental Health Resource Centre, Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre. We are looking for a registered mental health nurse with previous post registration experience, which should include experience in an acute or community setting and mentoring /supervisory experience. You will be responsible for aspects of the management of the CMHT, Day unit and Health Maintenance Service reporting to the Team Leader/Senior Charge Nurse. Highly developed communication and assessment skills are essential and you should have the specialist knowledge and clinical competencies required to plan the provision and evaluation of evidence based interventions for adults with a variety of mental health needs. The post requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual, who can actively contribute to the development of the service and is able to demonstrate commitment to professional development. You will be expected to provide advice, support and guidance on the mental health and wellbeing of adults to a variety of other agencies/partners, therefore experience of joint working and a knowledge and understanding of current Mental Health Act, Adults with Incapacity and Community Care legislation is necessary. Candidates must hold current UK NMC registration pin. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
