In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced architects to help shape integration strategies, leveraging modern technologies to enhance business processes. You’ll contribute to the development of APIs, microservices architectures, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services. Key Responsibilities Support Integration Design: Assist in designing and implementing integration solutions to ensure efficient data exchange and process alignment across platforms. Middleware and Integration Platforms: Collaborate in deploying middleware platforms to facilitate seamless communication between systems, both on-premise and in the cloud. API Development: Assist in creating APIs and microservices architectures that support secure, scalable integrations. Data Transformation: Contribute to effective data mapping, transformation, and synchronisation using ETL processes. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements, document needs, and deliver solutions that support organisational goals. Governance and Best Practices: Learn and apply integration standards, governance, and security practices to ensure solutions are robust and compliant. Documentation and Learning: Support the creation of documentation for integration processes and assist in training stakeholders on implemented solutions. Skills & Experience 2/3 years of experience in integration or software development, ideally with exposure to enterprise systems. Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar tools. Basic knowledge of API design principles and technologies such as REST and SOAP. Exposure to middleware technologies such as message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) or Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) systems is an advantage. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud integration strategies. Basic knowledge of data formats like JSON and XML, and awareness of ETL processes. Interest in modern architecture approaches such as microservices, containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), or event-driven design. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
