Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team in Beaconsfield, based in the Plumbing & Heating department.
Job Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock in a safe and organised manner.
* Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or collection.
* Maintain stock levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
* Serve customers on the Trade Counter when required.
* Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and organised at all times..
* Provide excellent customer service when assisting with stock queries.
* Support with the unloading of deliveries and liaise with suppliers.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
You must have experience of using a forklift, and ideally, a valid forklift licence to apply for this role. Due to the location of the branch, you must also have your own, reliable, transport. It is desirable that you will have a basic knowledge of plumbing & heating products.
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 7am-4.30pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements:
* Forklift and warehouse experience.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products.
* A proactive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
* Ability to lift heavy items.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
