* Proven expertise in full-stack development using Python, Flask, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL.
* Experience using LabVIEW.
* Experience in developing and adapting SCADA systems components, as well as performing full-scale integration and testing.
* A degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective teamwork, documentation, and stakeholder management.
* Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to tackle complex challenges.
* Self-initiative and self-motivation, with a willingness to learn other software languages.
* Ability to deliver high-quality results within deadlines and maintain a solution-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities:
* As a lead Software Engineer, I will design, build, and maintain software to support various business requirements and ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
* I will provide technical support for the software and services supported by my team and produce documentation to support all phases of the software development process.
* I will update task managers in a timely manner on the status of assigned deliverables and be accountable for the safety and security of all work I carry out.
* I will lead the team in implementing best practices in software development, such as modular code architecture, code review processes, configuration control, automated testing, and continuous integration.
* My role will also include actively contributing to hands-on coding, translating business requirements into detailed technical design, and troubleshooting software issues while supporting multidisciplinary teams.
* I will guide and mentor junior members of the team.
