Job Title: Payroll Administrator Location: Maidenhead Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a weekly and a monthly payroll. This role ensures timely and accurate payments, maintains compliance with HMRC and legislation, and supports payroll queries across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments for employees. • Manage employee timesheets, liaising with site accountants and admin teams to ensure accuracy for the weekly payroll. • Maintain accurate payroll records, including allowances, deductions, tax codes, garnishments, and pensions in the Oracle payroll module. • Process statutory payments such as SMP, SSP, and other related payments, and complete DWP forms where required. • Administer employee benefits and pension schemes, ensuring accurate processing. • Handle third-party payments through the Oracle system. • Ensure compliance with HMRC by filing RTI returns and meeting payroll tax obligations. • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy. • Support payroll reporting, reconciliation, and management reports. • Provide Tier 2 support to People Managers and employees on payroll and benefit queries, escalating issues when necessary. • Assist with ad-hoc payroll or administrative tasks as required. • Maintain employment documentation and HR files in line with company policy, UK legislation, and GDPR. • Continuously improve payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications: • At least 2 years' experience in payroll administration, handling both weekly and monthly payroll. • Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations, RTI, statutory payments (SMP, SSP), and pensions. • Experience using Oracle payroll is essential. • Strong Excel skills with experience in using V-Look ups. • Great team player. • Strong organisation skills.
