An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committed individual to join our clinical education team. We are looking to appoint a Clinical Education Practitioner who is an experienced registered nurse, midwife or AHP with experience of teaching who wants to help make a difference in the development and support of our clinical workforce. You will work as part of a team to support the development of evidenced-based clinical education and competence in line with within national, local and Trust policy and support staff in their transition to working within the NHS and within this Trust. Contributing to the delivery of core clinical educational programmes including clinical induction programmes Taking a lead in the planning and delivery of clinical skills teaching programmes Support, coaching and assessment in the workplace for clinical team members Supporting the delivery of the Care Certificate programme and supporting new care assistants in their introduction to the organisation Supporting International Nurse recruits through the process of transitioning to working in an NHS environment and obtaining NMC registration. Working alongside project teams and specialists to provide tailored educational support to clinical teams as part of quality improvement and organisational change initiatives. Supporting the Practice Education Lead and Clinical Skills Lead to develop new ways of delivering clinical education and assessment across the organisation.
