Position: Mechanical Bais Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £46,000
Benefits: Pension, 25 Days Holidays
Shift Pattern: 4 On 6 Off (2 Days 2 Nights)

ATA Recruitment has partnered with a well-established FMCG company that specializes in manufacturing. The company has multiple sites across the UK, with a turnover of over 3 billion pounds globally, providing a range of products. They pride themselves on manufacturing products that are fully recyclable and supporting the circular economy.
The company has been successfully trading for over 30 years and has recently experienced high demands due to the market conditions. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Bais Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support the Maintenance department.
ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Mechanical Engineers from the FMCG manufacturing sector based in the St Neots area or nearby.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Maintain motors, gearboxes, shafts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
2. React to breakdowns.
3. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance.
4. Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
5. Maintain mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
6. Conduct mechanical fault finding.
7. Replace and repair mechanical components.
Requirements:
1. An experienced Mechanical Bais Maintenance Engineer working within an FMCG environment.
2. A good understanding of maintenance engineering.
3. A hands-on, team player.
4. Qualifications: Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, City and Guilds - electrical.
5. Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
