What You’ll Actually Do (aka Make a Real Difference) As one of our Children’s Residential Support Workers, you'll be that trusted adult - the one who shows up, listens deeply, and helps each young person feel safe, seen, and supported. Your day might include: Creating a warm, nurturing home environment (bonus points for excellent pancake skills ) Helping with school runs, life chats, bedtime routines, and everything in between Being a calm, steady presence during emotional storms Supporting with health, education, and wellbeing goals Keeping on top of paperwork and working as part of a rock-solid team Always holding space for growth, laughter, healing - and the occasional dance-off in the kitchen What We’re Really Looking For We’ll give you all the training and qualifications you need - what we really want is someone who’s: A natural connector and emotionally intelligent Kind, consistent, and reliable (you say what you mean and mean what you say) Up for a challenge and ready to grow A team player with a great sense of humour and a big heart Bonus points if you’ve got experience in care or with young people - and if you hold or are willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare. A manual driving license? Super helpful. UK residency for 3 years? Required.
