We design and manufacture patient-specific medical devices including anatomical models, surgical cutting guides and bespoke implants, to put those plans into place. We are currently undergoing a growth phase as we increase our UK presence and enter the US, using our unique Point of Care service model. There is an opportunity for a suitably qualified Sales Associate to join the business at this exciting stage of our development. Sales Associate (North UK) This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and growing MedTech company. We are looking for a candidate who: • Is a graduate; the candidate should have a bio-medical/scientific or engineering background. • Has some experience in the medical-device sales world, preferably within orthopaedics, but any discipline will be considered. • Preferably has human anatomy and/or surgical knowledge The candidate will be based out of our office at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool but will need to travel extensively within Northern England visiting partner hospitals as well as to visit other sites. The role includes an initial training period with our Head of Commercial. The training will form the basis of their development as a sales representative capable of operating within the medical device market and successfully growing the company’s pipeline and sales revenue. As part of the role the Sales Associate will be expected to attend and support surgeons in a theatre environment, some of these cases are quite radical and candidates should be certain that this is an arena they are comfortable in. Theatre access training will also be provided. Central to the role will be developing business leads and selling our 3D printed patient-specific medical devices to clinicians, hospitals and medical device manufacturers. The products include anatomical models, surgical guides, custom-made implants and clinical simulators. One of the key features will be to manage sales leads as they appear, and to uncover new ones. In addition the role will also involve key administrative tasks, including customer record management, CRM updates, Image collection and retrieval, Purchase Order coordination and communication with hospitals and third party suppliers. The role scope and salary will be reviewed after 12 months which (if positive) will lead to greater responsibility and remuneration.
