Senior Payroll Administrator Due to growth our Tamworth based client is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end payroll processes for UK employees. The primary focus will be on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy and providing exceptional service to their employees. As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will need to have/be: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex payroll scenarios Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a focus on UK payroll The ability to balance and prioritise duties in a manner that allows all deadlines to be met Familiarity with pension scheme administration and compliance requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address employee enquires and concerns relating to payroll Integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information Experience in payroll processing, Sage Payroll or Payroll Manager is desirable Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent organisational skills A flexible and adaptable individual with a can-do attitudeDetails: Salary: £32, 000 - £35, 000 Working Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday Location: Tamworth (on site) Duration: PermanentRole of Senior Payroll Administrator: Preparation and processing of monthly payrolls including salary, overtime and adjustments as required for the group Preparation of PAYE records and processing of payroll journals for each legal entity within the group Processing of monthly pension data and submission of data Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data into payroll software Providing Payroll service in a timely and accurate manner Ensuring payroll legislation is adhered too. Managing the distribution of P45s ensuring these are issued to leavers of the organisation in a timely manner. Assisting with payroll queries and issues, comments and complaints in line with policy and process. Always demonstrating confidentiality and discretion. Always ensure GDPR compliant.
