The difference you will make as an Administrator
This role is based at Riverside Acorn Place in Alfreton Road, Derby.
Riverside Acorn Place is a running office that is staffed 8am – 4pm daily.
You will assist in the delivery of the administration service across a variety of supported and sheltered schemes and provide administration assistance within a client focused environment.
CAR ESSENTIAL: The role involves collecting rental income from another site in Derby City Centre once per week on a Monday therefore someone with a driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
1. Experience of working with administration and financial systems
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds
3. Experience working in a customer focused environment within a residential setting with a diverse client group of vulnerable adults
4. Basic administrative skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
5. IT skills including purchase ordering systems. Full training will be provided.

Role Profile
11. Carry out day to day office administrative functions to ensure that all records and files are maintained and held securely and that the confidentiality of information is upheld.
12. Assisting with the procurement and management of service contracts.
13. Assisting the delivery of an effective and consistent administration system across the cluster.
14. Ensuring culture and diversity issues have been considered across the client group and to tackle any forms of discrimination, adhering to equality and diversity procedures.
15. Collating and submitting information returns, including funding, health and safety and performance returns.
16. Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication.
17. Ordering and monitoring office supplies and equipment.
18. Maintaining all financial administration systems, including rent accounts, invoices, petty cash and banking.
19. Collating internal financial monitoring reports as and when required.
20. Providing personal administration support where appropriate.
21. Ensuring appropriate recording and IT systems are in place.
22. Working in line with health and safety requirements to ensure the overall safety and security of the scheme.
23. Attend various meetings to provide a minute taking function.
