Job Profile
As the Maintenance Surveyor you will be joining our dedicated team of property professionals in providing a comprehensive housing repair service. You will be responsible for carrying out repair inspections and building pathology. Liaising with customers and working in partnership across BVT you will provide objective evaluation of structural integrity, compliance with building regulations, and overall property suitability for its intended use.
Candidate Profile
You will be values driven and focused on delivering great services.
1. You will have an HNC/HND in construction / building services or be working towards.
2. Extensive knowledge of HHSRS
3. Proven experience of property maintenance work, preferably gained within housing.
4. Sound building pathology knowledge and understanding of building and health and safety at work legislation.
5. Excellent record keeping skills (ability to record information accurately & clearly as well as maintain organised and efficient systems).
6. Able to engage with customers and be a good listener.
7. Must be Customer-focused.
8. Full and current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
